Nice sharp shots Peter. I'm no expert on birds but the last bird in your previous post could be some sort of Cormorant. (compare it to the first bird in my post)

@Peter: The bird you couldn't name is a Cormorant (or 'Shag', originally depending on whether the bird has a crest or not), in Dutch 'Aalscholver'
Remco
Dave, Remco, thanks. I think you are right. Aalscholver (cormorant) seems fitting if I compare my photo to others on the internet.

great shots Paul. #2 is my pick. Your composition makes me feel I have made some sort of awareness contact with the subject. And speaking of picks, if I could be so rude as to add a nit, what would you reckon to a slight crop of some of the empty sky down the RHS, which might also get rid of the small protrusion of the roof at bottom RHS? Just a suggestion from a non expert in these things.
Cheers
Ken
Not sure what this one is. Markings, size and shape suggest a willy wag tail. But body colours are NQR. Could be a juvenile bird which has not yet attained the adult plumage. Adult willies here are quite black on the upper body, not this midnight blue.

What a Cool little bird Ken. On my second shot I notice the twig in the bottom right after I posted it. It has been fixed. As for the crop, I agree it is not the best, I was trying to keep it a certain format but I may have to change that. Thanks for making that choice an easier one. :)

Very nice set of shots Cheryl. Brilliant colour and detail in the last one and you've done exceedingly well to capture those cockatoo's in flight as sharp as you have.
