This thread is Whey too cheesy for me, at one point I thought I was going Crackers, in the end it made me Blue and I had to open a bottle of wine to go with the photos, with a few grapes. I hope you have success with your cheese photos but I am unable to view any more as I am on a Low Cholesteral diet.................P.S. Love the pics :)

One thing I forgot to ask about - can you post a pic of your setup and explain how you get this kind of lighting? I really love the way the texture shows through. Looks almost 3D and wanting to touch it. -

ha- Bobo, you'd laugh at my set-up.
It equals wherever I can get daylight and then make do. I usually use the kitchen table and just my D90 either on a Joby Gorillapod or just balanced on the table. I don't yet own any external lighting/flash.
That last shot of the blue was shot under ambient light only and with DOF as low as the aperture wold go.
Fairly simple post processing via Lightroom. -

When you can get results like this with just natural light I'd say just keep on rockin'! The moment you add a new element, like a flash, you start the learning process again. Come to think about, that's not always a bad thing either! :D
