Now it makes perfect sense. Thanks..http://backup.cambridgeincolour.com/...mbarrassed.gif

Hi Chris, I'm thinking that in a Pano, that might account for the horizon being curved. If so, it's easy enough to fix. :D
I'm guessing that's also what I noticed in your 'Porthcurno to Logan's Rock' image.

Sorry Steve - am missing something here
Re: Mousehole Habour (Panorama)
oops sorry:o wrong forum. It's the cuts driving me nuts.
Re: Mousehole Habour (Panorama)
A cracking image and on seascapes I prefer to see the horizon slightly bowed as it gives a sense of proportion to the image. It may not look too good at these small sizes but on a large pano print I think it looks terrific - but that's just my opinion of course :)

Yes, me too - that's why I didn't object to it on my first response to Chris' pic. My horizons get curved in the same way, I don't try to correct it, it gives a spacious feel, as if the view is so wide one is seeing the curvature of the earth... Although I usually look for correct angles with architecture, there too there is a place for creative distortion....
