It was a very interesting competition, I did thought a lot before voting, many pictures drew my attention and deserved special attention!

I just came back home from New Zealand. I was lucky to capture the stunning Milky Way over the historic church of New Zealand when I was just stay one night in Tekapo in April.

Pray tell...what lens were you using and what was your exposure time....I LOVE this shot and would like to be able to do one like it someday.

You guys must get to see a different sky than we do on this end of the world...last time I saw a sky like that at night, I was sailing in the South Seas and I am not even sure it was as pictureque as this one..again, congratulations on a superb photo and thanks for the info.

In the beginning, I was shy to post because everyone's pics seemed so perfect - these photos show the outstanding standard that is set by this forum. I enjoy belonging.
