Raylee! I was just thinking about you and missing you. Here you are! How's the class going? I don't really know how to critique these but I do like his expression in #3, with the lights on the left and how his hair looks like it's on fire. Then, you got to meet the man himself. Hope it was a good time.

    Good ones, Raylee.

Somehow, when he's not got the mic rigth in front of him (as in #2) it looks less dynamic than the others - sort of as nothing really is happening. Or maybe it's because he's standing straight up, you've not rotated it in any way. Don't know. It's not got so much 'energy' as the others.

    Thanks Katy, Donald and Kay.

Katy - I've finished my course. I enjoyed it because of being around other people interested in photography. It taught me that I have the skills to take to photos but it's the creative side that I want to develop. I'm really interested in photography as art. As much as I love documentary photography when done well (by other people), I find that I'm not happy with my attempts and I want something more creative and emotive. In this context, I've posted a couple of photos in the textures thread.

    Donald - you're right.

Kay - we'll chat because I will be down your way very soon and it would be nice to meet you in person.
