    Red Tulip

    Why are flowers so hard to shoot? This is the only one i like of several tulip shots.

    Taken with a canon 35 f/1.4L lens at f/4...iso 200...1/250s.

    They certainly can be Steve, especially when one has a waxy surface such as some tulips. I think I might have deepened the DOF slightly. Great red and sharp stamen, looks good, infact very good as I see a couple spots that I would have likely blown it out due to glare and you did nicely.

    I agree paul, i wish i would have shot it at f/8. Not used to using the 35 for this kind of shot. I thought f/4 would be enough.
