Willie or Jiro is fine by me.

    Red Chevrolet.

Sorry guys, I belong to the Rust Junkie Anonymous group. An old Chevrolet sedan parked beside the burger restaurant were we ate. There's not a strip of paint left on this car. It's all rust literally but still running!

    Red Chevrolet.

Thank you very much for viewing.

Nice one Willie. I love motor photography of all types - old, new, pristine and wrecks - just an old fashioned petrol-head. Great to hear this one is still running. Nice image too.

Thanks, Chris. I also belong to a real rust photography junkies on another forum where what we love to share are literally images of anything with rusts in it. The bigger the rust areas, the merrier! We also tend to over-saturate and add some grunge on it for impact.

Mary... or Lucy... either is fine with me. ;)

That's great, Jiro. The composition is perfect... did you apply a texture or is that just the way it is?

No texture added, Mary but I did boost the sharpening and the clarity adjustment in Lightroom on this one.

I was about to say I can comment on this provided you didn't drive down to the burger stand in it, but I see you got in first.

Excellent shot. I love rusty car shots. Good composition, and great colouring.

Don't worry, Rob I was very careful when I took this shot. If I slipped and fell on the side of this car I could have died from Tetanus with all these rusts in it.

I thought you were just kidding when you first said that! Are they a very exclusive group? Because I am on rust like it is on me. Great shot, Wilie.

After I asked that, I then thought that maybe you sharpened it... I'm learning... crazy.

That would have been horrible. I've seen movies where people get Tetanus. I haven't had a Tetanus shot since about 1980... I should go now, and get one.

Nope. It's as friendly as we have it here at CiC. It's more like a fun group. You post a rusty image then they will "criticize" you if you pass or fail. Actually, nobody flunks the "entrance exam" since we all cheat and help each other bring out the rust on our shots. The older the rust object the "higher" is your rust grade. Hahaha! That's how weird and funny we are there.

I was just kidding with Rob on that one, Mary. Just joking.

Thanks, Sam. I admire old cars. I think they are made out of thicker steel sheets compared to the tin cans that they use nowadays.

Yea. My first car in 1974 was a 56 Buick Special 4 holer. It took 2 years to restore. I love it.
