Was out walking the dog and came upon these Horses and was able to get a couple quick shots.
I sharpened the 1st one some but I kinda like the softness of the secound one more.

I know what you mean. But what if you sharpened the head a bit but left the body softer? I wonder if it's just because we're programmed to see/expect to see the head, especially the eyes, sharp.

Nice shots, Mark. I agree with the points discussed by Donald. You have a good eye for composition. Even your frame border helped the image look better. Good work!
