    Osage fruit

Orange Osage is non native to Oz and so we were interested to find three large trees growing on an old house site near the river just down the road from us. Orange osage is a fascinating tree with many uses and for those interested it is well worth googling for the details. When we investigated we found fruit on the tree! Never seen it before. So, had to get a pic! The fruit is about the size of a medium to large grapefruit. Anyway, enough of the idle chat. Time to ask for a c&c please.

Cut it in half and post a pic - please. Checked it on Wiki. Inedible. Interesting.
