    I'll Stick With Telephoto

This is a link that should be of interest to photographers. I hope it's permissible to provide this here. It's some incredible photographs of a lava lake at the bottom of a crater. The photographs were taken at great personal risk but are amazing.

    Thanks Chuck,

Fascinating stuff - and you really don't appreciate the scale until you see shot 20

    Cheers,

    thanks.
Is thinking: is it something like what we described " the lake of fire" in the hell.
Great nature always reminds me to be humble.

A 'once-in-a-lifetime' experience seems to be the appropriate phrase. The excitement at being involved in that project must have been phenominal.

#9 looks doable physically or is it the angle of view that makes it look simple.
#10 if I need to wear a gas mask to sleep I'm not going.

    Great images.

Excellent National Geographic quality imagery! However as awesome as these images are; there is no way that I would venture into that inferno to capture them.
