I took this picture of the chute of a stocking truck as they dumped salmon into the Lamoille River. The guys from fish and wildlife were very helpful, waiting until I was ready, and warning me when they opened the chute.

Isn't it nice, Tim when some guys are very accommodating to us photographers? I like the randomness on your shot. Nice work.

Thanks. Not only did they help me, but they had seen me shooting herons up the road a bit and asked how it went, and suggested a couple of other places to shoot.

The randomness choice came after a lot of crop attempts to impose order. I have the whole fish on the top in the frame, but the rest of them were partial, so I just sacrificed half of the top fish to accept the general disorder of the fish flying out of a pipe.
