I saw this boy admiring the painting done to his face. When I saw him smile, that's the time I pressed the shutter and took this shot. Thank you very much for viewing.
Nikon D70, Nikon 18-70mm lens set at 70mm, Exposure at ISO 320 f5.6 at 1/160 of a second, Matrix Metering in Manual Mode, Color processing in LR 3.3.

Very nice! Well framed, rich color, and a great subject! Was this taken in a studio? I only ask because of the lighting.

It's an outdoor shot, Mike. We were in the shade under a big umbrella. Lighting effect courtesy of Photoshop. Thanks for viewing, Mike. I guess people shot is not that popular at CiC. LOL!

I can only speak for myself, but I find portraits very intimidating. Probably because I don't want to disappoint my subject. I am fine with candids, but once I have to pose someone or they know I am taking their picture, I'm sunk.
