    Don't want to further hijack Sahil's Before & After Thread so.....

    These are two versions of the same image. One is in color with lots and lots of layering, brushing out, color adjustments, saturation workouts and all manner of filters, etc..(got a little carried away) in search of developing better imaging techniques.

    The first is the color version and while I think it conveys a good feeling of a nitty-gritty-greasy chain drive, I am thinking the B&W version gives it a rawer, alomost touchable feel...like you would need to wipe your fingers after touching.

    C&C is always welcome and always needed.

    Yes the B&W image looks more 'greasy' and obviously constructed from steel. The colour version looks as though it could be plastic.

    The BW does look more 'greasy' but I think for a bit more raw, industrial look it would benefit from some more (micro)contrast, especially on the chain it selves.
