I like the shot, but as a learning birder I have learned that unusual as this pose may seem it is one that shows off the birds flying prowess.

It is a shot that most definitely does not promote this bird's prowness as a flyer in any way, shape or form..that's why I think it is so funny. It wasn't meant to be a serious shot.
