    White Goose

This goose was caught, almost angel like, stretching its wings on the River Thames at the village of Iffley near Oxford.

Great capture. I can see that she's looking at you. I love the way the light makes her feathers seem almost translucent.

    Nice one Chris,

Personally, I would trim 10% off the left hand side, but having seen your website, I hesitate to make suggestions, I'm sure you know what you're doing.

You have some excellent images there,

Good timing, great angle and exposure Chris. Plenty of detail in the feathers. Well done.

Thank you Dave for your kind words and I will try your suggested edit, which does make sense. One of the great joys about sites such as this is that no matter how experienced you are, you will always continue to learn.

I'd echo Dave's words about the website. The site itself is great and what's in is not bad either!!

Must exchange messages with you about Glencoe and the Fort William connection - FW being my home town.

As you will know very well, there are thousands upon thousands of images of Glencoe. That one on your homepage has got to be amongst the best that I've ever seen. It is superb.
