Early Bird gets the Spiderwebs and other stuff

Just a good walkabout in the early am fog...burned off pretty quickly.

I call this brown fog and I swear it is just about as it came out of the camera...not sure about it at all, but I think I rather like it more than don't.

Sun breaking through fog - lots of nice spiderwebs and dew drops

The first one does it for me. At first you don't notice the trees in the background, but the more you look they start to appear.
Great photo's, my type of photography.

I liked the first and third ones the best. The first one is simply beautiful. First class. I'm jealous.

I really like that first one. Unfortunately, to hang on a wall, it is going to have to be super-contrasted, which will lose some of the ethereal quality. If you are careful with your PP and situate it where it has to be viewed from the proper distance, I think you could get away with it.

The non-reduced version of this was printed today and it is quite nice. I haven't had a problem yet with contrast on these fog shots. I am, however, using a 9 color Epson printer on Canson Baryta Photographique Paper...Sweet is the best word to describe the end result.

That is good to know. It is probably the appearance on my laptop which made me comment suchly. What paper are you using for such shots?

Canson Baryta Photographique Paper - it's pricey stuff but has a beautiful tooth for fine color work. For my B&W, I print on Jon Cone papers, 310GSM also using a 9 color Epson but they are nine gray scale carbon based inks...you would not believe the quality unles you saw it in your hot little hands...it's actually almost better than photo paper (bite my tongue). You can print on it, and leave it in a tray of water overnight with no bleeding or color loss...and the depths you can reach are very close to what you get doing mezzotint printmaking using the finest rocker a million zillion times.

Nice work....I especially like #1 and #3. No visible skyline is interesting.
