    Duck on the wing

    Duck on the wing

Thank you everybody for the suggestions. It worked much better this time. I learned more about my camera today and last night shooting tame ducks. Whodathunkit. And the bag of cracked corn in the trunk I had brought home for the chickens didn't hurt for keeping the shot opportunities coming. Keeping both eyes open was key, and I played with the aperture and shot about 100 pics at different apertures, with and without the polarizer, then compared the results in Bridge. Practice also made me able to hold back until focus was right a much higher percentage of the time.

PP was kind of hurried. What I was trying to do was learn to get a good capture, and you guys helped me out a lot with that.

The light was almost sunset so very buttery, which is why the sky is the color it is.
