Hi Tobias,
The spider's camouflage has worked very well - in fact too well, as it is hard to see him against the yellow petals in the background. Maybe if you could have set the spider off against the black background it might have had more effect.

Yeah I tried but every time I moved, so did the spider and it was my first attempt with my new 100mm macro lens, i'm still learning but will get there Thanx for the comment though.

Many crab spiders can, to some extent, change colour to match their surrounds. So when you find it on a white flower it will probably also be white.
