    It took me awhile to figure out at why my shoots were so flat with the off cam setting.

    After I change the white balance from Auto to flash, everything was making sense lol. Plus I can't change my flash output power on my 420ex which sucks! (Guess it's time to get another speedlite)

    I would think that you have a flash exposure compensation setting of some sort?

    I haven't got to that part yet... hopefully i get to play more of it this coming weekend. Everything changes when eTTL info is not transmitted to the speedlite.
