    Texture making

I think one could spend a lot of time designing and making texture shots...and this is just the tip of the iceberg...

I have just started making my own textures and it is a journey in itself. Sometimes, something I shoot can become a texture, but creating them from scratch is quite different. Good on you, Chris.

If you are using CS5, you definitely need to download the free plug-in called Pixel Bender....it's sweeeeeeet! Just playing around last night, I discovered how I could use it to soften an image I didn't want to use blur on and then rework in Silfer Efex...it did exactly what wanted it to do.

Thanks for the tip, Chris. I did have a quick look at that, but put it in the too hard basket. Maybe I need to rethink....

If I can do bender, you should have no difficulty at all...I am a total dweeb at this PP stuff, but I am getting better.
