A First Posting from the River thames

    The Church by the River

This is my first posting here and I would like your comments on this image. This is All Saints Church, Bisham on the banks of the River Thames, just up stream from Marlow.

It was shot last August on a fowl cols and rainy day. The original image was very flat and uninteresting so after the usual Photoshop editing I applied some minor HDR editing in Photomatix.

    Exif: Aperture - f/5.0 Shutter - 1/320 ISO - 100

Can somebody help me here as I don't seem to be able to up load the image or find a way of editing it into the original posting.

    Thanks

    Chris

    Hi Chris,

If you want to edit you post you can click on "Edit Post" in the bottom grey bar of your post. For uploading images: I think that the thread "How can I post images here?" explains it all nicely and clearly. If you have any further questions (after reading) let us know .

    Hi Chris,

I see Jeroen has provided the perfect link for you.

If you let that open in a new tab, then come back here and Edit and Go Advanced on the first post, you should be able to add the image by one means or another (not sure which you were trying) and Save again.

As Jeroen says, any probs, just let us know.

    Cheers,

Don't worry about making a mess of showing your first photo here, Chris, the same thing happened to many of us!

That photo edit seems to look OK for me.

Apart from that strange 'large pram' which is drifting past!

The large pram is a small motor boat with a plastic cover, which now you come to mention it Geoff does look a bit strange. Because it has always been there I tend not to notice it, but going back over the many images I have taken of this wonderful church - there is the boat. I will endeavor to clone it out.
