    Ring necked parakeet.

    Ring necked parakeet.

Captured with canon7D camera, 70-300mm IS lens, spot metering, ISO 800. Was surprised to spot this bird in my office garden in the evening.

    Hi Nitin,

I'm seeing a couple of lines across the image, like a file corruption, do you (or anyone else) see them?

It's well focused under the circumstances and of obvious interest to yourslef as you know where it was taken, but as a stand alone image, it lacks any wow factor because we can't see the whole parakeet and what we can see is partially obscured by the tree foliage.

    A lucky capture,

Yes, there are a couple of horizontal lines across the lower half of the image. At first glance, I thought they might be wires, but they're too sharp to be part of the image foreground. Sorry, but there is clearly some file corruption here.

    hi dave,

yes, there are two lines across the image. Thanks for your comments and totally agree with you that the image lacks any wow factor.
