Have been involved with another forum for the last couple of years but upon learning about this forum and seeing one of the members work, decided to move on.
Am a Nikon guy with a D200 and accessories.
Landscape and travel would be my primary genre' but like candid street photography as well.
Am anxious to begin exploring the forum and learning as much as I can while contributing when I think it might be worthwhile.

Good to have another Florida boy to join in the melee...actually, it is a nice, warm fuzzy place to learn. I've learned more on this forum than anyplace else I've visited or maintained a place in. Jiro is one of our best teachers but that said, there are a lot of great teachers on tis site...don't know, ask, someone will give you the help you need.

As the guys have written above and as you've already seen I think, this site is all about helping others to grow and develop in photography and for people to enjoy being part of an online community. As Chris has written, there will always be someone around who can answer whatever question you might have.

Thanks for the big welcome - appreciate it. Will be out of the country for a couple of weeks but hope to have some good images of Mexico to post when I return.
