its rarely that i get to peep into the blurry background fr so long to see the burning car! the sharp focussed area in front is just a cover very good composition i think there is a cute balance here, btween the story and the image in front looking into the story interesting pic indeed!

I hope you didn't set the car alight on purpose to take the photo .........just kidding. I like the way the extraordinary background is out of focus and the mundane subject is crystal clear, kind of the reverse of what you'd expect in this case since I at least would probably think to make the car the subject. Even though it's reversed that way it's still the background that pulls my attention, more so because the foreground is in focus.

Very definitive focus, I like the photograph.

The differential between the two objects gives it a clear focal.

no one was hurt... at least not physically. It was hard to get the driver (the man on the right) out of the car when it was just smoking under the hood.

thanks for all the +ve comments.
    cheers

A shot only a photographer would see.

Ray that is a magnificent shot, good bit of photo journalism coupled with an eye for the artistic. Not your everyday occurrence either.

    thanks Shreds
you are too kind. I don't think I would use "magnificent"
at least I'm sure the man in the picture won't think so.
