    As a comment, your subject is good. Maybe, you could add some sharpening effect on the vulture and the deer carcass to separate them from the foreground and background well. I would also probably try to reposition the vulture on the 1/3 side from the left for some more punch. You can do this by cropping the image. your first image is good. Hope you post some more.
