    Hey All,
Mr. Kingfisher caught red handed. I hope you like it. What do you think of it?

Very nice yisehaq . His eye is very centered, i think i would show more rock and shift his eye to the upper 1/3's line. If you can't , i would crop a little tighter to shift his eye from the center .

A very nice shot none the less. Not only did you get a good shot, but one with a minnow in his mouth. (great timing) They are VERY skittish around here and almost impossible to get close to . I've been after one all summer with no luck so far.

Beautiful strong colours and great timing! I too would like to see a bit of a crop that would move him further into the left corner and up a tad.

Hi Yisehaq and welcome to CiC.

Wonderful shot. Can you tell me the name of the bird? It looks very similar to the one I use in my avatar, namely, the Malachite Kingfisher, being Botswana’s national bird.

Indeed, it is a Malachit Kingfisher. The same one as your avatar, I see now. It's quite common in the Rift valley in Ethiopia.
    Cheers,
