Photoflex litedome vs Wescott Apollo softbox

    Hello Everyone!

I'm currently looking to purchase a softbox and I've been comparing Photoflex and Wescott but so far undecided on which direction to go. My budget is about $150. I'm using this for my canon 580 EXII. Originally I was going to go with a small kit but decided on a medium size to do 3/4 shots or at least 2 people. I'm just trying to find out which of these two have a better build. And my question with both brands is what would be the best way to tilt these?

The setup I'm looking at with Photoflex is this:

With Wescott, I'm looking at this one:

Any recommendations or tips would be greatly appreciated!

The best recommendation I can think of Chris is "forget the 580EX II and get a mains powered strobe that's 10 times as powerful".

I'm not saying it can't do it, but I think you'll hit the limits pretty quickly.

thanks Colin. But actually, that's all I have to work with right now. I do plan on getting a strobe though soon.
