Just happened on these guys as the sun was setting behinds some thick clouds. Now that I know where they'll be in the evening, I'll get there a little earlier.

Oh, wow -- I quite regularly photograph egrets, but I never see more than two at one time -- I'd love to see a big flock like this! I look forward to seeing more pictures of them --

So so so unfair. Can someone tell me why I happen to be stuck in the least picturesque part of the united states? Egrets have got to be the most beautiful of the long legged waders. Beautiful shot, Chris, and beautifully balanced.
