This was posted in a filckr forum post, thought I'd share. The main culprits seem to be in the middle east. If only they would ask.

I saw this on another forum recently, where one of the members had had a photo stolen, and the discussion was about how to find out. Tineye works well enough, but it doesn't have all images on the web in its databank.

The stolen photo was on Flickr, and it seems that the offender had stolen from all over. His Flickr account disappeared after complaints. The true author also reported the theft to them, and to Yahoo.

OTOH, no one would bother to pinch my pix!

im sure they would, all pictures in my opinion are worth something!
