    Photo Competition for October 2010

    Rules of Engagement:

    1. Image must have been taken this month (October) (or thereabouts) eg if you took a shot towards the end of last month, but didn't have time to enter it in last month's competition, then that's fine (I just want to encourage people to "get out and get shooting", and not to just submit historic work).

    2. Enter as many images as you like, but only 1 per post please

    3. No theme

    4. Please change the title of your post to reflect your image name (it makes it much easier for people to refer to your image that way ) (To change your post title you'll need to click on the "Advanced" button).

    Ha,ha! Actually, on this occasion I very deliberately went out with all the gear in the car (inc heavy tripod) with the intention of taking some decent shots in the right place at the right time with the right tide. I also sent my wife off for a long walk, which was a considerable advantage - photography-wise!

    No. not HDR. The colours were really quite amazing, although I did boost them in CS5 RAW. You can get more out of a RAW than you think (and I'm sure Colin would agree with that) Thanks for the comment.
