    more beech leaves

    they have pretty well fallen off the trees now, but I liked the 1st frame of a heap on the ground with nice natural lighting...then 3 stage managed attempts at improvement, still sunlit, but in the house with selected dark backgrounds. I don't think the contrived ones are as good, but interested in other views

    Hi Crisscross - I wonder what it is about the colours of autumn leaves that we all find so attractive. These shots show a beautiful tonality. I'm not so keen on the fourth image, there seems to be too much black, but the others are worth studying.

    First is my favourite, the tones and shades of brown are lovely. Very natural. Not so sure about the others.
