Very pleasing, John! Great light and post-processing showing the shape of the sail and top of the boat. You were even lucky enough to have the mast extend above the clouds, which is a very nice touch.

Thanks Mike, Maurice and John. Mike I wish I could say that the mast above the cloud line was a conscious thought but............

I really like this image. Wonderful lighting making the sail glow and twinkles on the water.

Hi John This is a great image but as soon as I saw the image a question came to my mind. If this was a backlit scene , the trees were supposed to have deep shadows which may not be possible to recover. But they look perfect in the image Would you please solve the mystry for me ?

Nice shot. I really like the transitions between grey tones.
If anything, The buoy to the far right is a bit distracting.
The highlights of the ripples in the water are captivating.
    I like it.

Thanks Gary, Dave, Binnur and Erik for the continued comment.

Binnur, the sun was in front of me but quite high, hence the lighter tree tops but I have also lifted the shadows slightly.

Erik, this keeps happening to me. I hadn't spotted the buoy. So easy to remove as well.

Very nice composition and conversion to black and white. I kinda like the way it is presented too with the grey frame as it give me an idea how it will look like when printed. Looks like a good day for sailing...
