The moon was a bit cloudy here as well, but your image has now put a smile on my face.
Not a bad substitute.
Rue de la Lune on a lovely summer evening, or the middle of a muddy field on a cold November evening? Tough call to make.
Caught it on the iPhone, just before it dissipated into the cloud cover last night.
As astronomer Paul Money said in his 'Night Scenes 2016' book (available from Amazon or author at Astrospace Publications) though despite the hype.......'because the moon will also be at Perigee (closest to the Earth) this technically also makes it slightly larger than normal but in reality, to the naked eye it will appear to be just another full moon which of course occurs every month'.
Indeed it was here, apparently about 7% larger than the norm, but we are not in a brilliant moonrise or set position, even though we get little light pollution where we live. The clouds however did close in.
Moon behind a building; great idea
Ah lovely
Well seen and captured Jean. Makes me want to go back there.
If at first you don't succeed give up but not Jean, brilliant and great imagination.
