    Welcome to the world of Sigma, Bill!

    Their lens-mount (SA) is clock-wise to insert lens - opposite to Nikon.

    Their zoom rings go backasswards (ACW for longer) to somebodies, I'm sure.

    And their "resolution" is whatever Chuck Norris says it is . . .
