    My favoutite little birds.

Forever on the move and nearly always close to the ground in thick scrub. I find it had to get a clear shot - there is always something in the way.

I should have wound up the ISO to get a better shutter speed

Beautiful little guys indeed. You're definitely shooting them in challenging conditions.

#3 looks particularly good to me. You have sufficient space around them and an acceptable background.

Nice series and beautiful birds. So much more colourful than the European Wren.

    Hi Richard, nice shots.

I know just how difficult it can be to get a clear shot at these guys, - well done.

#1 looks like some inquisitive little bird. Did he ask you what you are doing? You got some hot spots in the head there..
#2 looks better. I like this pose. He forms a triangle on the frame.
#3 and #4 are awwwwww........so pretty and loving...
Between #5 and #6, I prefer #6 better. It has a nice pose. You got that one right!
The two last ones, Wrens, are the hardest photograph. You are so lucky there...
I love all from this series. Excellent presentation and sharpness. i can almost touch them.
