    Amsterdam marathon

The yearly exersice. Same place, same traffic signs, same runners but a different lens.

    This one is bigger.

Good clarity and exposure with plenty of focus depth.

Maybe I would selectively tone down some of the background areas, particularly the yellows just a fraction but that is really extreme nit picking.

That yellow is a horrible color to shoot with bright sun. I did have an ev-correction of -0.7 just for that yellow. And had to lighten the runners again in pp. Maybe I forget about that next time.
I see there is no exif.

Nice full frames George and well lit.
First has stronger contrast and the second is a little flatter? or is that just me? (slightly different exposure?)
It doesn't come much sharper than the good ol' 80-200 AF-S... how I miss her

To much lightened in pp. Those yellow signs where killing me. Afterwards I think they're made with reflecting paint.

I think there're 3 ways to deal with it: ignoring them, underexpose the picture and so the subject as I did now, or framing them out either direct or in pp.

Or selectively lessen the brightening effect either in Photoshop or Nik's. I kinda like the second shot because it has more room to breathe than the constricting effect of the first shot.

By the way, just an observation, why is it that colour skinned people like me or them at your shot, or Asian culture like red or orange sport shoes?
