    Early morning workout

I headed to Delaware this weekend to watch my niece in her first equestrian competition of her senior year in college. The event happen to be at a standardbred track. So before the event started, I decided to take a walk over and watch them work in the early morning hours. Glad I did.

A little tight on the crop...is one crispy image.

Hi William. What do you mean by crispy - over processed? I'm confused as I didn't do all that much to this. Thanks

It would be nice to have some more space in front of the horse , but a nice image Kim , the horse looks beautiful and proud

Thanks Binnur. I gave the horse more breathing room and reworked the crop a bit... also fine tuned the processing.

I'd like to see the first shot processing with the second shot cropping.
Nice photo, and by crispy, I'd say it's nice and sharp, not overly processed.

The framing looks better in the second version Kim Why have you changed the processing? I really like the processing in #1.

Thanks Binnur and Allan. I changed the PP as William's cryptic comment about it being crispy (which usually means over processed), led me to start second guessing myself :-( , as I love this image and when I let images seduce me, I know I don't look at them in the same way. As mentioned, I hadn't done much to the image, but had lifted a few things.

I did not mean to infer that it was over-processed, IMHO, it was ideal.

I appreciate the clarification William; I like your work, so that's why your comment was meaningful to me. Thank you

Thanks for your comment John. I couldn't stay low for too long as some of the horses thought I was a predator and were concerned about me.
