Diesel Barge on the Irriwady

Gasoline or diesel fuel is carried by barge on the Irriwady to Mandalay.
Then gangs pull large hoses across the shores to Flatbed trucks and fill barrels for fuel distribution.



This is a Pye dog that lives on the barge. It is an early breed of dogs common to the Indian subcontinent. They are generally quiet and subdued except that in the suburbs of big cities they roam in packs and can get aggressive. This one was friendly.
