Brian, as dragons go this one is stunning. But, I am slightly puzzled that on my monitor it looks a little dull. I would have expected the reflections in the eyes to be brighter and more vibrance in the body colour.
The twig it is resting on suggests it was in direct sunlight?

It was in direct sunlight. one of the reasons we call this one the Red Baron is that with the unaided eye his wings appear to be red velvet. He is not a bright creature. The other possibility is that the muddy water is dulling everything down? then again maybe my colour balance was off a tad? Originally Posted by James G
