I like the way that the tree frames the image... It could possibly do with a slight increase in structure...

    Hi Lew

Intersting scene. I get a cozy feeling, when im looking at it. The low light, and the way the trees works as a roof. I like it!

I like the light in this shot, but the tree branch in the upper left corner bothers me.

    Thanks all
Unfortunately, the branch is there and there's really no way around it without losing stuff I like.

I have no problems with the tree limb. But if someone has a problem, it might be remedied by cloning...

Nicely seen and captured, Lew. We seem to like visiting the same kinds of places....

Shots that show people from the back usually do not work well, but this is one of those exceptions. The two cyclists are showing us the way up the road.

Great light and colour. Am I correct that it badly needs straightening? The tree doesn't do anything for me. I feel this shot was taken from too high and too far to the left, which means the tree, the cyclists and the background have a tension which detract from each other. I'd have hunkered down straight behind to avoid the tree altogether, making the cyclists far more central with the figures in the far background as a nice counterpoint to both the action and size of the main subjects.

    Shots are what they are.
A shot taken from further left and lower, would be a different picture.
