Hi all,

For Kitchen Art, I tried a month using the 'simpler' method of you naming just one image, but it hasn't really worked, resulting in a three way tie and many people sending 3 places anyway - I took the 1st place vote for these.

It wasn't a whole lot less work and the tie means it is dragging on a bit.
(Please do send me a PM if you haven't voted in Kitchen Art yet)

Therefore, the (late starting) #14 challenge Music will revert to the 1st, 2nd, 3rd method.

I hereby announce the theme for the 16th themed competition, as chosen by Rob, winner of the 14th.

The theme for the challenge to run between 05 May and 12 June will be:

Body Abstractions - Human or Animal

This could include a selective view of the stripes along an animal's tail, or a macro shot of an eye from a human model, for example. The idea is to include only a small portion of the subject, such as an individual body part. This topic has lots of interesting possibilities. As usual though, please don't include any photos if there is doubt about whether these will be appropriate for a wider audience. Anything deemed inappropriate by the moderators will be subject to removal. If you aren't sure whether your particular image is OK, feel free to show it to one of the moderators before posting it as an entry.
