    First from the D70

Just picked up my back up digital. I chose the D70 because I couldn't afford a D200, yet, and wanted something which would operate with my AF-D lenses.

These are not that good, yet, but I'm learning what this combination is capable of producing.

The only way to get the thistle hanging on the leaf to show up and still get the light on the leaf, was to run the shadow edge right through the picture.

The Swallow parents are starting to look a little scruffy.

I cropped this for more of a pano view to reduce the amount of sky and barren foreground.

I don't know what plant this little fluffball is, but I like it.

    Hi Pops,

I have been using the D70s for the past 4 years and found it worked well for me. I have just moved up to the D300s and like you learning to use its functions although coming from the D70 it is pretty intuitive. I decided to keep the D70s as a back up body and everyday camera in the car.

You are not trying to creep some triangles into your compositions (in #1 above) are you Pops????????
