    Izzie,

I'm on a restricted diet so most of these dishes/cuts of meat are off limits, but I think I could handle this one.

Thanks for sharing that John. I am on diet also, but my restriction in on quantity and on carb reduction. But I have never thought of taking pics of my barbeque work; now you have opened a whole new world of photography, including my two hobbies; food and photography! 😀

Hey...that is my hobby, too ... cooking and photography. Kid's did not like the dinner I prepared last night (pork tongue casserole with chicken gizzards) but Bill likes tongue, especially beef tongue. I don't have to cook today...it is my special day of once a year enforced laziness.

Was the kid's apprehension because you told them what was in it or just familiarity with the aromas?

No...they disappeared as soon as dinner was ready. They saw the frozen pack on the kitchen bench early in the morning while making their breakfast and guessed who are not coming for dinner. When that is the case, Bill and I just enjoyed our dinner even more -- no competition.
