Looking better, Brian. It's starting to look like a haunted house. A bit more light on that silo / tower from the left and along the fence in front. and you'll have a stronger image. You are getting a bit of light spill onto the vegetation to the right of the house and you might want to cut that back a bit.

I know you have the Sony version of Capture One. Have you considered shooting tethered to your laptop into Capture One when you do these images. That way they will pop up on the bigger screen and you can get instant feedback as to how well your painting is going. I expect your camera came with a connector cable so you can connect your camera to your laptop.

I have used the tether setup. I am leery of all the cables in the dark but it is worth a try.

Understood Brian. When I shoot tethered I do in a dark studio setting and have power supply cables running to multiple flash heads. I haven't managed to kill myself or my equipment yet because I position the tethered laptop is such a way that it is out of the places I would walk.

This type of shooting is where tethered shines, because you get a large image to see where things worked and did not work almost instantly, so you can made corrections for the next shot (if you even need a next shot).
