This story is doing the rounds of the internet. Can it be true that someone would be silly enough to pay mare than $1 million for a picture of a SPUD. Makes me want to spit chips.

In reality there's no real difference between a spud, a celebrity, a baby, a dog or a box of toothpaste. You place, light, shoot and process each in basically the same way so it comes down to who took it, what their status is and what the image is worth commercially.
