Same black bear I had to chase away from the campground the night before. A camper woke me up at 7:30 AM saying there was a bear in a tree. It spent 4 miserable hours in the tree before it came down and went back into the woods. Good news is it has not been seen since...
Just as it was moving into a perfectly sunlit area my CF card blinked FULL. By the time I changed to jpeg all I got was a bear butt shot......

What you were able to photograph was pretty good. Kind of close even if you did use a telephoto.
