Does anyone have experience of this lens on a Nikon DX SLR?
It gets good reviews and my local store has a mint 'used' one at a good price!

I'd be tempted, but it's a shame it doesn't have VR though.
In fact I wish Nikon would get a move on and re-issue many of their lenses with AF-S and VR, I'm running out of options.

Hi , i have the lens but have never used it on a DX though its really good on my d700. its a bit expensive to be used as a DX lens though theres no question about its superior quality and can be used for your potential future FX camera.
