    "old farm shed" HDR

Old farm shed, shot with Canon 5D Mk II & Canon 17-40 f4L lens. I used A.E.B. 2 stops over, 2 under & 1 neutral. The software used was Photomatix Pro "Exposure Fusion" & PP with Lightroom 2. This image was taken just after dawn.

Would it be incorrect to label an image such as this "Low Dynamic Range? Not to take anything away from what is a very good image, but shouldn't it be separated from HDR where there are dramatic highlights and intense tone mapping. I would classify an image such as this as one which had precise and necessary post processing.

Same image, but this time I used the Qtpfsgui software. Let me know if you think this is an improvement on my last effort.

    No worries.

By way of feedback on this comparison; I prefer the Qtpfsgui sky, but find the shed and foreground a little too desaturated in that shot, although Photomatix Pro, it looks overdone.
