Photo Competition for July 2010

Rules of Engagement:

1. Image must have been taken this month (July) (or thereabouts) eg if you took a shot towards the end of last month, but didn't have time to enter it in last month's competition, then that's fine :) (I just want to encourage people to "get out and get shooting", and not to just submit historic work).

2. Enter as many images as you like, but only 1 per post please :)

3. Please change the title of your post to reflect your image name (it makes it much easier for people to refer to your image that way :)) (To change your post title you'll need to click on the "Advanced" button).

4. If you enter an image then please do the right thing and vote for the 3 best images when voting opens at the beginning of the following month.

Looks good to me Grant - the only comment I can make is that it appears you have a small black dot along the top edge of the shot.

Yes it is a helicopter. I thought I had trimmed it out. I obviously need to check more carefully in future. Thanks for pointing it out.

Wow; I just looked up through this thread, and now I am dreading the end of July when I'll have to pick just 3 of these when voting comes around - there are just so many good ones.

PS Maybe that's why we sometimes struggle to get enough voters, it is too difficult to choose.
