    Small Water falls

    Sethumadai, near Coimbatore, India
Days back I visited the pleasant spot with my friends and we had a bath in the falls. The water is chill and climate is cool.

Some of this is down to personal taste, but if shooting waterfalls I find it best to either use a very fast shutter speed to really freeze everything, or to slow things down the other way and go for the 'milky water' effect - like this example http://carregwenimages.com/photo_6090425.html. With this shot you seems to be somewhere in-between and it doesn't look quite right to me. Good effort though. This is a very difficult subject to shoot.

I'll bet there are some spectacular sunsets in that region. I was able to capture a few on the Ganges.

You can find the exact location by google maps. Falls is feets of the "Top Slips"http//www.topsliponline.com/. The place is worth for natural photography.

    Hello,

I have just joined the forum here and would like to contribute to this thread with a small waterfall I took a few weeks ago in a ravine in Italy. I hope you like it and appreciate any constructive comments.

I took this picture (Nov. 2) from a trail above the falls at Mt. Banahaw since there is no way I could go down there at the catch basin.

I wish to know how is it.
